This year's NDP

will be awesome. Hah. At least that's what I think. Seems like the sengkang town council finally decided on decorating the blocks around my neighbourhood for Singapore's birthday this year. Okay, this is gonna sound dumb but I swear I felt excited when I saw the town council people tying the mini flags just outside my windows. Like finally, Fernvale is getting into the national day spirit huh. Heh. The funny thing was how I managed to fool my mum about the mini flags. ME: "eh mummy, you know why they hang 5 strings of the mini flags?" MUM: "ya lor, dunno why leh" ME: "cause last time got one ndp song called 5 stars arising, so 5 strings of mini flags lor" My mum totally believed it. Ha ha. I swear she's damn cute.
