As good as it gets

So, year 2009 is coming to an end. It doesnt exactly feels like the end of a year. Blame it on the poly's system for us to start sem one in April. In year 2009, I reckon that I did changed alot. From a very enthusiastic person to now, a rather quiet and reserved one. This year, I had too many a change of perspectives. Word of the year - Superficial. I dont bother socialising too much. This year is the first time that I actually felt one do not need a large army of friends, just a few awesome ones will do. So what if you have a billion hi-bye friends? You'll probably forget them in a few years down the road. And worst still, they'll probably do the same. Let's face it. They'll grow to be so insignificant in your life that you'd even think it's pretty silly back then of yourself to even bother with making so many friends. Probably, an increasing amount of people will think that I've become very arrogant and stuff. I cant help it. This year, I turned 18. Still dont see any major change in my life. No clubbing experience or high consumption of alcohol yet. Though it's an activity I'd like to engage in at least once in my lifetime. Ha. This year, I became ninety-five percent sure that I'm gonna get something small inked. I want it so bad. I remember chatting with my primary school best friend, Zi Xin about getting a tattoo when we're all grown up. She wanted one on her hips, I wanted one on where the taiwan actress XiaoS had her rose tattoo. Ha. Even back then, the obession was prominent. I'm kinda upset that I didnt make up my mind in time for my 18th birthday. It could have been dead memorable. Imagine finally getting inked after 8 years of endless pondering. This was probably my biggest regret in 2009. I probably wont do it next year too. Being 19 and getting inked somehow seemed meaningless and a stupid thing to do. Well, at least to me. Okay, now to end this off. As always, I hope next year will be a better year for everyone & myself. Happy 2010.
