Internship

I don't like to break up the paragraphs so I'll just write everything in one paragraph. My internship ended with a huge event at Carlton Hotel. I think it was a good experience and I got to know lots of directors, CEOs and all from various companies/brands. After the event on day one, I attended a networking event organised by my company at The Loof, which is a roof top bar or something. I really liked it there. Felt cosy and the crowd was good. What's more, all drinks were free flow. Some of my colleagues even got drunk towards the end. I ordered a couple of drinks for myself obviously sticking to the safe choices (fruit punch, orange juice and all) for the first few. I mean, you dont really want to be seen drinking alcohol in front of your supervisor, who is btw, the one giving you your appraisal. On the last day of my internship, my colleagues gave me some farewell gifts which I think must have costed a bomb. I dont know why I give the impression that I'm the kind of girl who hugs her teddy bear to bed every night, but I'm really not. In fact, I think I hate soft toys. They're just too girly and disgusting for me. But well, I really really appreciate their thoughts and I think I'll still display them in my room, somewhere. Leaving the company for me was kinda a happy thing. I really missed playing the role of a student. I didnt really like it there cause I wasnt really doing the type of stuff I liked, but I think my internship was still a good experience on the whole.
